remotefilelog can be installed like any other Mercurial extension. Download the source code and add the remotefilelog subdirectory to your `hgrc`: remotefilelog can be installed like any other Mercurial extension. Download the source code and add the remotefilelog subdirectory to your `hgrc`:

The extension currently has a hard dependency on lz4, so the [lz4 python library](https://pypi.python.org/pypi/lz4) must be installed on both servers and clients.
